Environmental Policies
Tremark Associates believe that meeting the needs of the present should not compromise the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. We are committed to continual improvement and to meeting, and where practicable, exceeding, all relevant regulatory requirements. In line with our commitment to continual improvement, there will be periodic evaluation of environmental performance across the range of our activities.
When establishing and reviewing our objectives, we shall consider legal and other requirements, our significant environmental aspects, our technological options and our financial, operational and business requirements, as well as the views of interested parties.
At Tremark Associates our environmental activities include:
- Regular environmental reviews of our policy statement to monitor our progress
- Regular evaluations of our environmental performance in all areas of our business
- Ensuring we meet, and where possible exceed, all legal and other requirements relating to environmental issues
- Recycling and re-using materials wherever possible
- Listening and taking note of the views of all parties
- Encouraging, motivating and training all our staff to play a full part in minimising our environmental impact
- Ultimate responsibility for this environmental policy lies with the managing director. However, the continuing success of Tremark depends upon everyone working as a team to enhance our performance.
Tremark Associates are aware of its responsibility to adopt environmentally sustainable practices and minimise the impact of its activities on the environment.
We actively promote recycling of all non confidential waste both internally and amongst our agents and suppliers.
Tremark Associates meet all government legislation that relates to the company.
Tremark are currently looking into installing Photovoltaic (PV) panels at its Leeds office. PV is a method of generating electrical power by converting solar radiation into direct current electricity.
Our office is on a main bus route and we encourage employees to catch the bus or car share.
Tremark Associates also promote the government backed cycle to work initiative to all its employees.
