Bailiff & Enforcement Services

TREMARK Associates offer a variety of professional bailiff and enforcement solutions.

It is important to note that in England and Wales, there are three types of bailiff: Certificated Bailiffs, County Court Bailiffs and High Court Enforcement Officers.

TREMARK’s Stacey Hodgson and Jason Bytheway are Certificated Bailiffs, certificated in the County Court under The Distress for Rent Rules 1988.

Communications between commercial landlords and tenants do break down. The landlord may be owed money, there may be rent arrears, or they may want to regain possession of their property – Certified Bailiffs can help.

Certificated Bailiffs can also recover monies due in respect of magistrates fines, council tax, Inland Revenue, VAT, traffic offences and the Child Support Agency. They are also regularly used to assist in the eviction of ‘travellers’ and other trespassers, but cannot act in the recovery of a judgment debt.

County Court Bailiffs are people employed directly by the County Courts for the enforcement and recovery of judgments in the County Court. County Court Bailiffs also carry out residential evictions.

In the High Court, judgment debts are enforced by High Court Enforcement Officers (formerly Sheriffs Officers). County Court judgments can be transferred to the High Court for enforcement by a High Court Enforcement Officer.

Because of our vast experience in this area you can be assured that TREMARK Associates can satisfy all your bailiff and enforcement needs and deliver a successful outcome in a qualified, professional and proficient manner.
