Spanish Property Tracing, Enquiries and Recovery

TREMARK Associates have been extremely successful in tracing holiday homes purchased in Spain by businessmen and women in times when their businesses were booming. The international economic downturn has since seen many previously successful businesses suffering cash flow difficulties resulting in business failure and/or the bankruptcy of the business owners. It is a remarkable fact that many of these assets regularly slip under the radar of creditors and Trustees in Bankruptcy.

In the first instance, all that is required is the subjects full name (including middle names) and we can perform a nationwide search to find out if that person owns a property or is involved in a company anywhere in Spain. The cost for this search is only £75.00 per person.

If we discover that the subject owns a property or properties, we can obtain a copy of the deeds to each property within approximately four working days. The cost for the deeds for each property is £250.00.

If we find the subject owns the property, TREMARK is able to call on our network of contacts to have the property valued and marketed. We can also introduce Spanish lawyers who are able to act upon either Trustees in Bankruptcy in respect of the sale of the property or on behalf of creditors to obtain charging orders to secure a debt.

TREMARK Associates have also been instrumental in successfully negotiating with bankrupts, their spouse or partners to purchase the Trustees’ interest in the property to the benefit of the creditors. This service can be carried out on a conditional fee agreement. If necessary we can also assist in arranging finance though Spanish bankers for any would-be purchasers.
